The Committee on the Judiciary moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill 2373--A BILL to amend and reenact §18-5-22c of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to the administration of epinephrine auto-injectors by a school nurse, nonmedical personnel or a school transportation employee to a student or school personnel; authorizing school transportation employees trained in administration of epinephrine auto-injectors and designated and authorized by the school or county board to administer auto-injectors to a student or school personnel experiencing an anaphylactic reaction and excluding such school transportation employees from section twenty-two, article five, chapter eighteen of said code; adding the county board as an entity that can authorize and designate nonmedical school personnel to administer the epinephrine auto-injector; establishing that school transportation employees are immune from liability for administration of an epinephrine auto-injector except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct; and requiring the State Board of Education to promulgate rules necessary to effectuate the provisions of this section.
